Sakimura Japanese Restaurant

We LOVE this place. We used to drive to Southbury/Westport (Sakura) for great Japanese food. I was A little hesitant when the place first opened, because I've been disappointed so many times before with the local Japanese selection. But across-the-board I can't say enough good things. The hibachi shows are fun and the food is delicious. And the sushi is really really good. And for people who have never tried it, they will offer them a light taste - so as not to feel them out. 😉 We also get the Hibachi shrimp and or chicken lunch specials to go. I highly recommend this place

Very good hibachi food, very good chef, and very good service

This food was the best in the world better than all my family food combined. 5 Star also it is in the most reasonable spot and best of all the soy souse on the rice and noddles and the best of the best is they cook right in front of you!!!!!! 5 STAROk so I went to the best place AGAIN and I will NEVER get tired of it, they are amazing, I went because it was my BIRTHDAY and they sang for me and gave me ice cream for my birthday. The ice cream was amazing and when I ate the food they gave me extra and I didn't get full. I really recommend going there whenever.
